What I can offer

I can offer a safe place where you can be heard, enabling you to look at issues, feelings and emotions. I will give you the support and clarity you require to empower you to make the changes in your life that you want to make.

I am able to work with not only the presenting problems but also with underlying problems or patterns of behaviour you may wish to change.

"The key to happiness is to remember what is important to you."

Pain runs deep, but joy runs deeper.

About my training

logoThrough the WEA (Worker’s Educational Association) I obtained The Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. The training was conducted within the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) guidelines and I adhere to the BACP code of practice and ethics. I realise the importance of confidentiality.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy

The course was based on a humanistic mode of counselling and takes account of the whole person. I am able to work in a creative way with clients, enabling them to open up and see what is behind their presenting problem and where their blocks may be. I work on many levels and encourage the client to also work through many layers.

LogoI completed The Foundation for Infant Loss Accredited Provider Training Course On: 17 December 2017 and therefore I am now able to use these additional skills to help you at this time of loss.

 Drawing and Talking Therapy

certificate for drawing and talking therapy Drawing and Talking Therapy works on underlying problems, the trapped emotions, trauma. Reseach has shown that traumatic memories are stored in parts of the brain not directly reached by talking on its own. When the brain is overloaded it overflows and the distress gets stored in other parts of the brain and the body. Drawing allows the deeper part of the brain to be involved. Drawing then talking can gradually help the brain rework old events and detoxify the memories so that you can start to react in a different way. This therapy is done over a 12 week period for 1/2hour per session

With in all my work I bring a spiritual presents and work within a sacred space.

Please contact me if you feel I could help you in any way
